Introduction

I will compare the processes of selling a script and getting commissioned within the film and television markets. I will form my research in the style of a review; critically analysing the processes and steps that it takes to get your script sold and yourself commissioned for writing.

I will research markets such as the broadcasters; BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Film4 as well as the outlets for writers trying to get their break; Writers room, Writers store and the London Screenwriters Festival.
